Specific Responsibilities:
?Evaluate performance testing needs for the ActiveWorks, ActiveNet, and Active Outdoors project lines
?Develop sets of performance tests that validate the various performance requirements of the projects
?Execute these tests on a scheduled and ad-hoc basis
?Monitor system performance during test execution
?Evaluate test results to verify requirements are met, identify performance issues, bottlenecks, etc., and report on the results
?Assist development and operations with diagnosis, troubleshooting, and resolution of performance issues
?Interface with all project stakeholders to ensure ongoing satisfaction with delivery of performance testing
Qualifications:
?Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a technical discipline.
?3–5 years of experience as a performance test engineer
?Experience with a broad set of performance testing tools such as NeoLoad, LoadRunner, SOASTA Cloud Test, JMeter, etc
?Demonstrated experience with performance analysis tools, such as AppDynamics, DynaTrace, etc
?Demonstrated ability to define and implement a performance test strategy
?Ability to work in cross-functional teams and individually
?Ability to speak with authority to management staff and individual contributors at all levels
