Title: Research Scientist - Air Classification and Cyclone Separations
This scientific work serves as the bedrock for deploying new technologies that powers our innovation. Research scientists will spend most of their time conducting state-of-the-art experimental work to design and test new systems. Our research scientists are increasingly expected to take on significant CEO facing responsibilities commensurate with their experience and growth. As we strengthen and grow our coverage of innovation and emerging technology opportunities in China, we require individuals to think, research and invent new technologies that will impact business and society.
Responsibilities:
? Lead process technology research with a team of other scientists and associates to develop and test new research hypotheses.
? Conduct research on the characterization of air classification and cyclone separations process technologies.
? Conduct state-of-the-art experimental characterization.
? Produce written research reports, including creative visual depictions of data and ideas.
? Manage deliverables and interactions.
Requirements:
? Minimum Education - B.S. in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related technical field of study
? Preferred Education - M.S. or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related field
? Minimum Experience - 10+ years of related experience in air classification, pneumatic conveying, or powder processing industries (with B.S.
? degree); 7-10 years of related experience in air classification, pneumatic conveying, or powder processing industries (with advanced degree)
? Minimum Field-of-Expertise
? Knowledge of and experience with air classification and cyclone separation systems
? Experience working with air classification and cyclone separation systems in laboratory, pilot plant or commercial scale operations.
? Familiarity and experience building experimental pilot plant facilities and conducting experimental test work
? Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
